Men in Communications Minute: Brandon Pankey

Brandon Pankey will be a panelist at our upcoming Men in PR event! This year’s theme is “The Scene: How to Communicate Your Brand Through Entertainment and Social Events,” and Brandon’s work in the entertainment industry is a fine example of this. Account Manager, Sports and Entertainment Financial Group

Starting as an assistant to the Sports and Entertainment Financial Group president, Brandon Pankey has become one of the firm’s most valuable players. Pankey, 27, manages tours and finances for artists like Lil Wayne, Keri Hilson, Jill Scott and Drake.

Pankey and his partners have started Destined to Achieve Successful Heights, an initiative that aims to develop an entertainment industry charter school. “Too many young people want to be rappers, actors or athletes, not realizing there are so many opportunities behind the scenes,” Pankey says. “I push myself every day to grow and become someone remembered, in a positive way.”

Man in the Mirror: Kevin Parker

Philly Fashion Week co-founder, runway coach and stylist Kevin Parker will be the moderator at our Men in PR event, themed “Man in the Mirror: The Role of Personal Image and Style in Media”

Kevin Parker is also co-founder of the noted Philadelphia Fashion Week & FBH Modeling Agency. Philadelphia’s top runway coach, Kevin has trained over 900 models since 2005 in events such as Sensationnel Hair Idol, six seasons of Philadelphia Fashion Week and FBH Agency & FBH Modeling School. Kevin, along with business partner Kerry Scott, is also a fashion designer of the Tarantula Brand.

Kevin has dedicated his life to fashion by grooming quality models and creating a platform for stylists, models and designers to showcase their talents in front of industry insiders. His skills are multi-faceted; ranging from makeup artistry, hair styling, wardrobe styling and event producing.

FBH’s Philly Fashion Week attracts over 5,000 people annually through fashion show events, mixers and seminars. Philadelphia Fashion Week events reach the vast market of fashion designers, stylists, makeup and hair stylists and various fashion industry executives in Philadelphia and vicinities.

Man in the Mirror: Reuben “Big Rube” Harley

Style blogger, reporter and former marketing director for Mitchell & Ness, Reuben “Big Rube” Harley will be a panelist at our annual Men in PR event, themed “Man in the Mirror: The Role of Personal Image and Style in Media”

Reuben Harley is the author and Creative Director of StreetGazing.com.  StreetGazing.com is a street style blog dedicated to displaying personal style in the Greater Philadelphia area.  Through Reuben’s expressive and candid pictures, Reuben informs Philadelphians of the current fashion trends on a daily basis.  Before creating StreetGazing.com, Reuben was the Marketing Director for Mitchell & Ness Nostalgia & Co. It was his work with Mitchell & Ness that attracted the interests of hip-hop mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs and the likes. Reuben transformed the Philadelphia based brand into an urban sought-after commodity, worn by the hottest hip-hop artists, on every popular urban television show and network and the go-to brand for fine urban apparel.

Man in the Mirror: German Cuadrado

Founder of the Men in PR organization and PR Professional, German Cuadrado will be a panelist at our Men in PR event themed “Man in the Mirror: The Role of Personal Image and Style in Media”

German Cuadrado, founder of Men in PR, transitioned into the rapidly changing world of public relations in 2010. Since then, Cuadrado served as a PR consultant at nonprofit organizations and entertainment firms such as South Jersey AIDS Alliance, United Way of Gloucester County, 5290 Media Group, LLC and FBH The Agency, producer of Philadelphia Fashion Week. In these capacities, Cuadrado authored and executed strategic public relations plans, managed media relations, and coordinated red carpet charitable events among other tasks.

Cuadrado prides himself in establishing professional and profitable relationships, as a result of his enthusiastic and strategic approach to work, leadership and innovative skills, which are key ingredients to his success.

Cuadrado is currently working towards establishing a solid presence for Men in PR and P5PR Management, LLC – a boutique public relations firm for entertainment and nonprofit brands.
